Fall Crop Watch
Agriculture is dependent on many factors. Although this is a list of the expected crops, sometimes fruits and vegetables are a little earlier or a little later to arrive than expected. The Bay Area is surrounded by different micro-climates, which each has a little different growing season.
Ask your favorite farmer at the farmers’ market what crops are coming up, and what the season is for your favorite varieties of fruits and vegetables.
Taste the difference this season by enjoying fresh heirloom apples, oranges, grapes, sweet potatoes, heirloom squash varieties (butternut, kabocha, acorn, etc.), spinach, onions, organic and Asian vegetables, fish, eggs, fresh California Dungeness crab, and much more from California certified farmers and food producers.
